I wouldn’t recommend this place at ALL! They cycle through therapists at an alarming rate. You get used to seeing someone and you request them, only to find out that they are no longer with the company. I used this agency for outpatient services and after completing my sessions i unfortunately was referred back by my physician for outpatient services again. Someone came out to do the initial assessment and the lady was so caught up on my age and kept saying that I was too young for home services and I would benefit from office visits. I tried explaining my condition and inability to drive to ensure I make my appointments and I was clearly ignored. My doctor is REALLY good and to think that this Physical therapist thought she knew better than a Neurosurgeon was beyond me. Needless to say, my doctor referred me elsewhere and I will be receiving the Home care services I needed two months ago when the referral was first placed. Do not trust this place with your healing journey. They will judge you based on your age, they will make comments that are disgusting. I was told on a couple occasions, “You’re too young for…..” as if my medical conditions and its effects are based on age.

It is my personal experience Amedisys does not care about their employees. My personal car was vandalized and burglarized while at a patient’s home. Amedysis has done nothing to compensate me for my damages. I was insulted by risk management as she told me the rate they pay for mileage is to cover the cost of damages to my vehicle. No efforts have been made to ensure the safety of clinicians.

Really love Amedisys Home Health. They have been so great with my elderly grandmother who broke her knee in December and they have just been so wonderful! Mr. Will does such a great job with her PT and getting her up and going and Mrs. Christy is awesome and just so fun to talk with and is very thorough in everything with my grandma. Also Mrs. Brooke is so sweet and they are so trustworthy I feel very comfortable with them helping my grandmother. Truly appreciate their services they have been the best home health care that we’ve had. Would absolutely recommend them to everyone!

Our office works with Amedisys on a daily basis. Brooke Eldridge is amazing and always helps me get whatever I ask done to help our patients. She helps us with the hardest problems and small ones! She definitely makes sure our patients are well taken care of and makes us feel like a priority!Melinda

This has been the best home physical therapy I have ever had. My therapist Alisha made this experience so enjoyable but pushed me through it. Alisha is very knowledgeable in all aspects of home health care.
