I moved to the Hickory Flat area a year ago, and the first thing I did was locate a good veterinarian for my little dog. I went to Hickory Flat Animal Hospital and was immediately greeted by smiling faces and a clean fresh aroma. Their clinic is small but not overwhelmed with a waiting room full of anxious pets. After about a one minute wait, I was escorted to an exam room with my dog. The exam room was small but immaculately clean. We were seen within two minutes. The vet was extremely thorough and took the time to explain everything she found. Checkout was also very fast. I've had dogs for years. My first experience with Hickory Flat Animal Hospital was a couple years ago, when I had to say goodbye to my beloved old rescue dog. The staff at HFAH were absolutely, wonderfully compassionate and made this extremely difficult moment much more manageable. Since then, I have taken my pets to HFAH exclusively and have always had an excellent experience. Everyone in the office is extremely friendly and professional, and they have always answered questions I've had about medications, procedures, and so on with confidence, expertise, and clarity. Cannot recommend Hickory Flat Animal Hospital enough. Would rate more stars if I could.
If I could give 10 stars to this veterinary practice I would. Been coming here for two decades--always get excellent care for my dogs, good advice and supportive staff. I drive over an hour to go to appointments here and would drive two if they ever moved. Thank you for everything, Hickory Flat Animal Hospital!
