Truly a wonderful animal hospital: transparent, caring, and polite! They helped with my daughter’s young cat who had just given birth to kittens a few days ago. I rushed in holding the mother cat as she was giving birth, with the first kitten literally landing in my hand. The staff quickly took her, placed her in a safe cage with bedding, and reassured me: “She’s doing great, just take her back home, and if there are any complications, come back.” They didn’t charge me for the visit and even let us keep the cage with bedding. Such kindness and compassion mean so much, thank you!

This place is horrible. You can’t set an appt time. Have to drop pet off in morning, and they keep it kenneled until they decide to get to it. Then call later in day to come pick it up Very bad for the animals. I was there for 2.5 hours waiting in parking lot (they don’t want you waiting) for a 10 min procedure. Still wasn’t even tended too. Pulled him out to take to a place that operated with decency, and that I could stay with my family member, and actually have an appt time. We do not recommend

What an amazing experience! Dr. Walsh and the staff were affable and professional. My 14 year old dog displayed sudden serious symptoms. I was listened to and seen promptly. Dr. Walsh took his time and gave me valuable information and direction going forward. All is well and I am extremely grateful 🙏🤗.

Hello I had the very sad task last wk to bring my dying kitty in ....the day before Thanksgiving ! Many vets were already out if town for the Holiday. I called and Jamie answered and I already heard companion in her voice... I made an appointment and my daughter and husband came with me. We were greeted by the front desk person ( sorry don't remember her name ), but she was so kind and said how sorry they were...these were not just words, the whole office has such a ' sweet Spirit ' that is felt when you enter. We were brought into the office and proceeded to ' give her ' The Shot' and it was Very peaceful and Fast, because they combine 3 meds in one, which now I understand is def the way to go...of course I lost it..., but received many long hugs that were so needed at that moment. Mind you, I was not their reg patient, they just know how to do things right. After that I was shown the Memorials of all their office kitties...Omg how sweet ! So today I will pick up our FLUFFY , who was a recue and so sweet and beautiful. She was so helpful to me when my husband passed, like they know...that I needed all those extra snuggles. Ps. The price for the services is also right in this office $ 185 including cremation. That is excellent.

Doc and his entire staff are absolutely outstanding. I know my dogs are in the best of care and Doc will not recommend anything that is not necessary. Never once have felt in the dark or taken advantage of. Thank you for taking care of our fur babies. ❤️

Dr. Bill Walsh at A Pet's Friend has been our vet since 1990. He is extremely knowledgeable and compassionate. We've had many pets over the years and he has cared for each one. He isn't a veterinarian just to make a living, it is his mission in life. I highly recommend A Pet's Friend.
