We have been so grateful for the treatment our daughter has been receiving from Syvia Brafman. After dealing with several other mental health facilities it was clear from the beginning that this place was different. The owners spent 90 minutes on a zoom call with us (on a Saturday morning)to discuss our daughter's needs before we even committed to treatment. We were skeptical after having other programs make promises to us that did not happen after she entered treatment. We chose Sylvia Brafman for our child as they were professional right from the beginning and answered all our questions patiently. They have a customized plan for each patient that really worked out for our child. Even after discharge, they continued to stay in touch to ensure that the transition was smooth. We think SB is one of the best mental health centers we have seen; they really care for their patients.

In my experience, mental health is often misunderstood and even ignored. There is a common misconception that a person can control it if they are just a little stronger or self-disciplined.
