I recently moved to this area and have been looking for a good beauty salon. After searching so many, I decided to call "Marie's Place" and since I spoke to the lady on the phone I knew this was the perfect place for me.

I followed my hairdresser Linda here after the shop she has worked at for many years went out of business. Nestled in an older plaza in the corner, it is easy to pass up this small beauty salon. The owner is Dominican so the decor of the salon does remind me of little latin salons my grandmother would visit. It is nothing fancy, and basically caters to the clientele that frequent there. I came in and immediately saw my hairdresser Linda so I went and sat in her chair. There were two other hairdresser in the salon as well as two other patrons.
