Absolutely love this studio :-)The practices are so diverse. You will feel comfortable at your own level wherever that is and given the freedom to do so :-) I love that they focus on breath. Our most important essential. It's non-pretentious here. Your own practice is truly about you. The instructors are all amazing and very open. Open as far as open-minded open as far as making it about you open as far as their energies, you feel it. The energy feels amazing when you walk in the front door. Thank you all so much for this wonderful experience.
So tickled to have discovered this yoga studio! Barb and her team of instructors are all wonderful to deal with and there’s truly an all-embracing family here. All levels are made to feel welcome, and the special programming throughout the month makes this my studio of choice.
I'm here for Amanda Larson-Mekler. I've taken a few other classes from other teachers. Also keep in mind a lot of the teachers here, Amanda included, teach at other studios, so I've had their classes before.Amanda Larson-Mekler is the only teacher who routinely makes an effort to integrate breath and drishti into the practice. I wouldn't say she does a *great* job of it, in a vacuum, but compared to her peers it's a great job. In a vacuum it's a good job.I hate to sound elitist, but it's true: most yoga practitioners really aren't interested in practicing yoga. They're just interested in coming in and getting a workout.
