Angie by Design Hair & Makeup is a small, family-friendly full-service hair and makeup salon located just outside of Downtown Sanford. With over 30 years of experience, the salon is well-versed in a wide range of services, including corrective color, various color melt techniques, balayage, highlights, curly cutting, men's cuts, textured cutting, women's cuts, runway blow-outs, updos, and traditional/HD airbrush makeup. The salon takes pride in staying consistent and current with the latest looks and trends, and they have an artist that can cater to each client's needs. Angie by Design offers services at their main location or can send a team to clients for special occasions. They also offer private beauty parties. Clients have praised the salon's talented and sweet staff, who listen to the clients' needs and deliver excellent results. The salon was voted one of the top salons in Sanford, Florida, for 2021 and continues to thrive in talent, community, and service. However, some clients have expressed surprise at the high prices, with one client noting a $70 charge for a haircut and wash, which was more than they were willing to pay.
Angie is incredible! My hair needed some doctoring and she came through! She was able to transform my hair back to what I love! I am very grateful for her!
I have known of Angie for a number of years, and finally decided to make an appointment with her as I have curly hair that I also wear straight on occasion. I have very long curly hair, and she took time to understand what I was looking for. Wanted to keep length but give it a shape that would help my curls not be weighed down. She took her time, chatted with me through it, and it ended up pretty much exactly how I wanted it! She gave me my shape back and can’t wait to see how it looks when I wear it curly! She also shares her space with a lovely nail artist, Fiona that I will be visiting as well. Thank you Angie!
I would definitely recommend Angie and will be going back in the future! It was my hubby's birthday and I wanted to get my hair and makeup done for the evening I had planned. Angie was awesome listened to what I wanted and offered suggestions! My makeup was on point and hair was beautiful! I can't thank her enough for making it happen! I felt amazing when I left and my hubby was surprised and loved it! Thank you again Angie!
