I must say I am very pleased with the service I have received from this company. My nurse Megan absolutely wonderful. You can tell she cares about her work. So does my first physical therapist. Christine also wonderful to work with. Very knowledgeable and very pleasant to talk to And my latest physical therapist. David is also very well knowledged in his job. Very pleasant to talk to and extremely helpful to me . Based off all my experiences with First st at Home I would highly recommend them for your home services after surgery starting with a phone call to Shannon who has been on top of everything since day one. We were very disappointed with the service and filed a malpractice with our insurance.In short, my husband had a hip surgery and after the first day of the nurse visit, we expected a PT John who was going to explain and show the basics for the patient who returned home. After John’s arrival 3 hours late (he had some business with his wife on the side), he walked in sweaty, without mask, without washing hands, coughing and yelling at us for being his patient on his busy day. He refused to wash his hands and he never removed his shoes since he was in rush (this is my husbands second day out of the hospital), and of course he could not wear a mask because he couldn’t breathe (he was sick himself). This behavior brought a lot of health risk upon my husband and a lot of frustration when you need to stay calm and recover.The company should be responsible for screening their employees and their ability to provide the right and safe service.We DO NOT RECOMMEND FIRST AT HOME Palm Beach. Avoid at any cost.

My friend had hip replacement. Physical therapist came for 2 weeks. She only did some passive ROM and massaged the surgical area. She never even taught basic skills: walking, sitting, standing. She said you need to rest and heal. You will be taught everything in outpatient rehab. She spent 15-20 minutes at the house. Virtually a waste of time.

My PT at home appointments after my surgery were great. A nurse came when scheduled a couple of days after my surgery to schedule the PT appointments, and my PT therapist - Tiffany - was awesome! FIRST at Home Palm Beach Gardens was very organized and I recommend them highly.

First at Home has provided 5-star care and service for me and my family. Between us we have had 7 joint replacements (not all at once!) and they provided trained Physical Therapists and nurses. Most recently they provided caring, kind, great spirited nursing assistants 24 hours a day as my father traveled through hospitalization, skilled nursing, and hospice at home. The aids were comforting to him and to our family as they consistently treated him with kindness, dignity, and laughter. We are so grateful for them. We wholeheartedly recommend them.
