I had a few months before a big move and wanted to REALLY dedicate some time to this practice, I went as often as possible (your brain will try to trick you into not practicing because it's hard!) There are all levels here (one woman with a double hip replacement might be practicing next to a Cirque de Solei- type contortionist.) The jump-through has always been elusive although I've been practicing yoga for several years consistently. I never bothered with head stands because of chronic neck pain (which has practically gone away.) Ashtanga Yoga Worldwide has become my second home over the past year. I am happy to drive every morning all the way from Boca Raton just to practice with Greg and the other incredible AYW teachers. The atmosphere at AYW is warm and inviting, and all of the teachers are experienced, knowledgeable and extremely friendly. Greg is one of the kindest, most insightful people I have met, and I am so grateful to have had the opportunity to learn from him during my Ashtanga yoga journey. I am now moving to the Netherlands to attend college, so I unfortunately will no longer be able to practice at AYW on a daily basis, but I will definitely visit whenever I'm back in Florida. Dropped in for mysore style one morning....Greg was inviting, helpful, and effective. Achieved levels of poses not realized in quite some time with gentle but strong,careful adjustments. Could not get back for more during my stay unfortunately. Looking forward to working with this studio on a daily basis when relocated.
