They are quick to over promise, however the follow through is non existent. They would go a month at a time between working on our bathroom and bedroom (the master) all the while we had to be moved out! They left holes in the walls from damage and even did not put drywall ** in areas behind the vanity! The tile is off and misaligned along with not having a uniform grout color (Seems like they rubbed a white material on the black grout and now it cant be cleaned and is discolored.) the project was slated to take 3 months and after 7 months was only 1/2 done. Zero stars was not an option, unfortunately! Please stay away from this business! I hired Robbie Johnson, owner of RlJ. Atlantic Builders for 6 figures. I was told it would take 3 months and it took 1 Year. The contract has loopholes so bring it to your attorney before signing. Change orders were given to me after the work was complete and one verbal change came to me on paper for $2,000.00 more than we discussed. The kitchen island with quartz countertop was installed in the incorrect location and had to be moved. There were 5 payments or draws due. The fifth payment or draw was upon completion. Robbie told me he needed the fifth payment because he needed the money....read full review
