UTD are our boots, eyes, and ears on the front line. We are too busy teaching to fully grasp how Tallahassee legislation affects our profession. Why wouldn't you want a Union fighting for your rights as a teacher? Arguments regarding not joining because of dues are insignificant due to the referendums. We should thank UTD for assuring that the referendums are on the ballot in the first place.

UTD's new location in Miami Springs is really nice. There is a parking lot as well as underground garage. Easy to spot on your right going westbound on 36th Street. Congratulations on the new building!
