A colleague recommended OOSI to me, and I am so glad he did! I was very impressed by my initial interaction with the owner, Fran, who was very friendly and accommodating. I also had the pleasure of speaking with Maria Nieves, who works in the office and scheduled the driving lessons for my son. Maria was very professional and courteous. She made recommendations concerning when to schedule the driving lessons and she was able to provide a female instructor as requested. The driving instructor, Maritza, was absolutely amazing! My son felt so comfortable with her and she gave him the confidence he needed to progress from one lesson to the next with ease. Maritza was very friendly, calm, patient, helpful, knowledgeable, and reassuring. She was always praising my son for the correct things he did during the lesson while being understanding and empathetic when he made mistakes. She reassured us both that the driving errors he was making was a normal part of the learning process. My son, who is a perfectionist, felt extremely accepted and cared for by Maritza which helped him to be less anxious and more confident. I originally purchased 5 lessons, but I ended up purchasing 6 more at my son's request. My son shared that he really enjoyed the lessons and felt that it was due to his instructor, Mrs. Maritza. We are both so glad that he will be able to do the Road Test Prep class with her as well. I highly recommend OOSI to everyone and am extremely grateful to the instructor, Maritza, for giving my son the skills he needs to become a safe and confident driver.
