We had a great trip with Florida Yacht Charters; Kimber gave us an in depth briefing on local conditions and helped us with our float plan and Jon explained the boat systems and docking situation for Dantari. They are both very knowledgeable on sailing Florida Keys. We explored the American Shoal lighthouse, Looe Key reef and Bahia Honda. We anchored in Newfound Harbor and even took the dinghy to visit Picnic Island and Captain Jack's pontoon. Next time we hope to explore the wild side; Marquesas Keys and Dry Tortugas. Emily, Kimber, and Jon are fantastic. We sailed Dantari, a Jeanneau 440, to the Dry Tortugas and back. I sailed with my wife and daughter. As a family, we charter 3 or 4 times per year. We have chartered around the US, Caribbean, and Mediterranean. I have nothing but nice things to say about Florida Yachts Charters. Upon arrival at the base, the stress of travel started to melt away (we drove down from Virginia). Their knowledge and professionalism were evident from our first booking inquiry with Emily and continued throughout and after our charter. Emily and Kimber did a terrific job putting together an unforgettable experience bareboat sailing the Florida keys. The boat was immaculate and as advertised. We spent a week sailing to the marquesas and back, following a well prepared sail plan. Great winds, amazing reefs for snorkeling, a true piece of paradise. Greatly recommended!
