I recently had the pleasure of working with John Wannamaker, General Manager, and his outstanding site crew led by Juan Torres for a full roof replacement on our nearly 100-year-old bungalow. The replacement was prompted by a nonrenewal notice from our insurance company, and from the start, John made the process seamless. He walked us through all the necessary updates to meet current codes, helped us choose shingle colors and flashing, and explained every option with clarity and care.
The crew arrived promptly and began removing the old roof within 30 minutes. Despite a couple of unforeseen challenges—including quirks of an older home and a hiccup with the city inspector—John and Juan handled everything swiftly and professionally. The project extended into a second day, but the team showed up early and worked diligently until the job was complete. The roof was finished on a Saturday, and by late Monday morning, we had our Certification of Completion from the city—an impressive turnaround that speaks volumes about their coordination and follow-through.
What truly impressed us was their attention to detail in cleanup—not just around our home, but also our neighbor’s property. Being a “good neighbor” matters to us, and TurnKey Roofing respected that fully.
The final result is stunning. The new roof complements our home beautifully and blends perfectly with the character of our block. We couldn’t be happier with the outcome and highly recommend TurnKey Roofing of Florida – Jacksonville for anyone seeking quality, professionalism, and peace of mind.

UPDATE 04/02/2025- Turnkey has now installed the roof vent and send reimbursement for the step flashing that was not installed.
In August 2022 Turnkey Roofing replaced the roof on my townhouse in which I was invoiced for double underlayment, ridge vent installation, roof shingles and step flashing. In September 2024 Turnkey was called to check the same roof due to leaking and I was told it was the ridge vent leaking due to neighboring townhouse installing a tarp cover over their roof. Was told the roof over my townhouse was not leaking. And, if any leaks, it was caused by Helene and the neighboring roof tarp somehow leaking through the ridge vent. This was just after Helene and before Hurricane Milton. I never received a full explanation other than the ridge vent on roof was leaking due to the neighboring roof tarp and rain. I took this for what it was, and contacted a different company for an inspection and repairs. The following week I had a different roofing company out to check my roof with a listing of the work performed by Turnkey. After they checked my roof, they informed me there was no ridge vent installed to leak, and step flashing was not installed per the contract with Turnkey Roofing in 2022. They were not able to check for the double underlayment. I had some email communications with John Wannamaker and Ben Lavarias on November 5, 2024, with no response about the items not installed that I paid for. I have sent a few emails and left several voice messages with both and as of 12/06/2024, neither a returned call nor email response. I understand they cannot personally inspect all work done under their company name, but I feel slighted since I paid for items that weren't installed and now question the quality and integrity of the roof as a whole. Add in the fact they are no longer responding to any of my questions makes it even more frustrating.
** This review has nothing to do with a leaking roof. The neighbor is taking care of any and all damages from the water due to their tarp so that is moot. It has to do with the fact I paid for items Turnkey didn't install per the contract. After it was inspected by another company, they informed me these items weren't installed. I am sure it was done to Florida building Code since they inspected it and it passed, but they don't check your invoice to what work is done. Look at the pictures Ben, do you see step flashing and a ridge vent in the pictures your company took? I feel the pictures show it all. Turnkey did not try to resolve anything, they just stopped responding until this review. My expectation is to get what was contracted and I paid for, fully honored and completed. How ethical and honest is that Turnkey?

From start to finish nothing short of professionalism and courtesy and continuous communication throughout the entire process.
