I have been practicing here for over 30 years. I love this dojo! I've seen many people come and go over the years and it has been a joy to train with so many from so many walks of life. Yet despite the ebb and flow of students, the dojo has remained a steady and peaceful respite, doing what we've always done: Aikido.

This is without a doubt, The most elegant of all the martial arts. And this particular dojo has that spirit of elegant and thoughtful teaching. A couple who operate the place are warm skilled and dedicated to sharing their deep knowledge. Accordingly, it draws some fine practitioners. But don't worry, even the most Junior beginners would feel most welcome here

All the instructors are all fantastically patient and caring. The other students seem to also follow lead, and everyone is friendly yet focused. I have little to no martial arts experience and the instructors take the time to explain things thoroughly to the entire class, and one-on-one. There is a great sense of community, and a focus on developing the student's skills. These classes are not just about fitness or going through the motions, every class is non-stop learning.
