I loved the peace and it felt right at home. Small and intimate with plenty of conversation across the board. I am not from Gainesville but I was able to navigate this pit stop right into my route.

I'm sorry to say. I was not pleased with my haircut. The barber cut two different lengths in my hair. I asked for a simple shape up. I have an afro, and when I got up from the chair, it looked like a ufo. I was treating myself after a 2 week hospital stay. I thought a fresh cut would boost my mood. When I got home and shampooed and picked out my hair, it was uneven, not round, it's way shorter in the back than the front. He cut my edges back way too far, I have none! (And I am funny about my edges) Now I look like one of those women who get their braids too tight and have no edges??♀️I was referred by a colleague. I've been coming here ever since I moved to Gainesville. Gene who regularly cuts me up is very dependable and honest. Everyone there is great, and proud to call fades and fros my go to place for all my cuts
