First Health Systems is a great agency - Like many others, it changed hands in the past 10 years. That's why the older reviews contrast so much with the newer ones.I currently use this agency for my small home ALF, Angel House in Pembroke Pines, and I've found them to be all the things the majority of users have said.Friendly, Responsive, and they do make an effort to send the Same nurses out to our facility, so that there's continuity and the relationship others have referenced.Today's healthcare system is all about the numbers, whether clinical or monetary, and that's not the case for the owner here, nor for myself as an ALF owner. I just read some of the reviews, and felt it absolutely necessary to write the wrongs (lol) of what some of the people wrote.I have been using them, when necessary for over 6 years, at least. They are definitely reliable, and though I have had some LPN's or nurses that have either been unfamiliar with my condition (RSD/CRPS) and didn't know what or how to deal with my situation. However, I am blessed to haveone LPN, who I have used for years. The difference between having a "relationship" with your health care worker and not having one, is like night and day. For the past four years, First Health Systems have been my first line of support caring for my cousin.They have had outstanding service with 24 hour availability and excellent caregivers, physical therapists and staff.They have gone the extra mile and guided me and have made it possible for me to take care of a loved one in FL, while I live miles away in CA. They have been my eyes, ears and hands for me.The staff has always been loving, professional, and punctual; they treat their patients like family.
