If you think you have cancer…RUN AWAY!If I could give a zero I would.My husband was referred to Dr. Cottam back in July. My husband had a mole on his back that was diagnosed as cancer. My husbands insurance took Dr. Cottam off their list of providers in early August. Doctor Cottam sent a letter to our home stating he need to get his cancer addressed that it was life threatening. Since then we have been trying to get copies of his records. We had my husbands primary doctor and the new dermatologist fax over release forms several times each to get copies of his records. I am giving one star because I have to , where do I begin the front desk is unprofessional, I have been there a couple times and there is a new person everytime , he was very rude to the girl that he was training in front of me, it was very awkward for me as a patient to the point that I wanted to defend the poor girl , the office is very unsanitary for a medical office , not to mention they have no gowns and you stand there in your underwear, never have I experienced anything like it , I got the 4 min shower lecture, I had a red spot on my abdomen and without him saying anything he took a scaple and cut a cone shaped hole in my body I have a permanent scar from it ,...read full review

I had a similar experience like the other parent. I took my daughter which is 18 but still in high school to see this doctor. From the beginning the front desk was very unprofessional I heard their whole life story before our visit. When we got back there the doctor gives me a lecture on I shouldn’t be back there with my daughter because she’s of legal age. He lectured us on bizarre things like being a fish !! He barely looked at my daughters leg which that was the reason we were there ! He should have cultivated my daughters leg but instead just gave the same meds as our primary doctor gave !!!
