I was in desperate need of a new style/color and I turned to Yelp (no surprise here) and luckily I found a fantastic stylist who I loved. I had my first appointment last night and I couldn't be happier. I will be writing a separate review on the Haven Hair Company which is the independently owned business I picked. iStudio salons is a premier suite concept so stylists can work independently in their own leased studio. The studio is their own space to decorate, set their own hours but most importantly, it gives them the freedom to be their own boss. iStudio is family owned with twelve locations between Florida and Indiana. I bought a Groupon for full highlights and wanted to try her out; I have gone to many others in the past and have paid crazy amount of money to walk out of the salon with looking like it was time to have my hair done again due to the stylist not getting close to my roots and having what I call a raccoon look on each side of my head when my hair is pulled back. Finding a professional that knows how to do blonde has been a struggle for me. I have very fine/thin hair so that can be a challenge for a stylist but meeting Beth and explaining my issues of past she did an AMAZING job and I LOVE LOVE the results.
