We had some old family rugs we needed advice on. For a small consulting fee David was very knowledgeable and was able to provide a fair assesment - noticing important factors that were missed by another appraiser (like that our rug had been modified). He was honest and did not try to sell us services we may not need (e.g. that repairing the rugs for resale was likely not worth the cost of investment).
I brought in a 3' x 6' carpet to be cleaned. When I got it back it looked sparkling clean. The colors are now strong and the areas that had looked dingy are much livelier. Totally satisfied.
I had a 20 year old wool rug from Oaxaca that my 175 pound dog had loved sleeping on. As a result, it badly needed cleaning, but I was reluctant to dry clean it because of the chemicals involved. David Zahirpour washed it and did a terrific job. It looks new again. He was recommended to me by a neighbor on Next Door, and I want to second that recommendation.
