Stoney, Juan and the rest of the barbers have been a part of the Shaw community for decades, first on 9th Street and now at the location on 8th & N. They are professional and Courtney, but also warm and inviting. They make all feel welcome and the familial atmosphere will have you running back to get your haircut even when you might not necessarily need it ! Love this place!

This barbershop is the real deal, a constant in the neighborhood for decades. Stoney, the owner/proprietor/maestro-of-manes can regularly be found greeting everyone that passes by and encourages everyone to sit for a spell, engage in conversation and feel welcome. These days, in this city, a real Spot like this is priceless (and their pricing is spot on to boot.)

Got a great haircut from Stoney, today. On top of being a great barber, Stoney is very personable and professional. He greets everyone like family and makes his customers feel right at home. In terms of the cut, he knew exactly what he was doing. He asked what I wanted and he knew how to get there. Added bonus was that his price ($25) is extremely reasonable for this area of DC where many places are charging upwards of $60. I'll definitely come back!
