Hands down the best eye doctor! The doctor genuinely cares about his patients. Office staff are extremely helpful and patient.

I'm only giving 2 stars because the doctor was extremely late seeing me. Extremely disappointed I ended up walking out of my appointment bec I couldn't take waiting anymore ill be lookin for a new eye doc

I have been coming here for years. Just had my annual exam recently. Dr. Mingrone and the staff at Lifetime Eyecare are among the best you will ever encounter in this industry. The care and attention they give you is exceptional.

Dr. Mingrone and his staff were absolutely wonderful!! I wish I knew about Lifetime Eyecare sooner!!! I have had several bad experiences with other places in the Shelton/Derby area. Highly recommend ?

Terrible experience !! I went to the location out in West Haven because I read amazing reviews. The staff are very friendly, however the issue I had was bigger than customer service. Dr. Walked in I seen he already had gloves on. So I watched his every move to see if he was going to switch them out before I said anything. When he reached for my face I asked if he could change his gloves. I honestly can not believe what he said next .. “ It’s not like I’m preforming surgery on you.” I stood shock. When he noticed I was very serious about the gloves he said well then let me disinfect them and SPRAYED CLEANING SUPPLY ON HIS GLOVES!!!!! I got up immediately, how disgusting!!! I understand we are in the middle of a pandemic & there is a shortage on PPE supplies. However, that is no reason to not change your gloves. Leaves me wondering how many patients did he do that with before me! I work in the health field, both Hospital & nursing home, that is the FIRST thing you learn : CHANGE YOUR GLOVES! Even now during covid it is even a BIGGER reason to make sure you change gloves in between patients. Absolutely disgusted! I would neveeeeer recommend this place to anybody around the area. Not even my worst enemy!!

The staff is friendly. Staff explains in detail the process of the eye exam. Dr. Mingrone takes the time to listen to your concerns and takes his time with the exam. I have already recommended Lifetime Eye-care to two co-workers.
