About Legacy Ridge Golf Course
Legacy Ridge Golf Course is a well-maintained and enjoyable golf course that offers a pleasant golfing experience. The course features a mix of par 5s and par 3s, providing a varied and challenging layout. While the early season may require cart path only or walking, this is to be expected. Golfers have praised the course's condition, with the balls rolling true and the views from the back nine being particularly impressive, especially the mountain scenery. The staff at Legacy Ridge have also received positive feedback, with a friendly and attentive bartender and a professional and efficient pro shop employee standing out. However, some golfers have noted a few minor drawbacks, such as the driving range lacking tees on the mats, which makes practicing with a driver off a tee difficult. Additionally, the driving range has a limited distance, and some tee boxes have been moved up significantly, reducing the yardage on certain holes. Despite these minor issues, most golfers have found the overall experience at Legacy Ridge to be enjoyable, with a great pace of play and beautiful scenery. The course is always in great condition, with unique holes and great greens that are well maintained despite a high volume of players who do not replace ball marks, making them slick and slopey. The views from the back nine are notably beautiful, and the clubhouse offers good hot dogs and drinks. The full-size range with cheap but good quality range balls adds to the overall value, and the staff, including Heidi and Lynn, make visiting enjoyable, especially on special nights. While the cost of refreshments, such as two 12-ounce Odell beers costing $16 plus tip, may be a bit high, the majority of golfers recommend Legacy Ridge Golf Course as a great option for those seeking a pleasant, well-maintained, and scenic golfing experience.
Legacy Ridge hosted a wonderful Mother's Day event this weekend, and I just wanted to take a minute to recognize the staff for putting on such a great afternoon. Putting contests, chipping contests, free range balls, hot dogs, raffles, the works. It was clear a lot of thought and effort went into making it special for everyone who came out.
A particular shout-out to the gentleman running the putting contest. He was everywhere at once, ferrying what felt like ten thousand putting balls back and forth, keeping things moving, and making sure everyone was having a good time. If he had a hand in organizing the whole event, it shows. Genuine hospitality from start to...read full review
Given our extreme drought I thought the course was in good shape. Everyone I dealt with was courteous and friendly. They were monitoring pace of play which wasn’t an issue but it was nice to know they were keeping an eye on it. I’ve played there several times and have always had a good experience.
Played Legacy Ridge golf course today. The course is in great shape, pace of play was great. The staff was so nice. The course is fun but a good challenge and a reasonable price. The views of the mountains and flatirons are great. I can't wait to play it again.
