I called the previous day and was able to schedule an appointment for the following morning. I arrived two minutes late, and no one made me feel uncomfortable or rushed. Libby was weighed and brought back promptly. The technician gathered initial information about our concern, and Dr. Cross came in within a few minutes.
Dr. Cross was professional, knowledgeable, and thoughtful in her communication. We proceeded with radiographs, and sedation was discussed as I expected. Pricing was clearly reviewed, and although I was comfortable with sedation, the team decided to attempt the radiographs without it first. Libby came back looking like a queen, and they told me she was incredibly cooperative—which significantly reduced the cost.
Throughout the visit, I genuinely felt like Family Pet Hospital treated us as long-term patients, not revenue producers. The radiographs received a full orthopedic review, and Dr. Cross clearly explained the findings and provided written notes so I could fully understand the results.
We’ll be returning to Family Pet Hospital soon for Libby’s spay and baby tooth extraction. I’m very grateful for the care, transparency, and respect shown to both of us.

Long overdue review. I feel lucky that we found Family Pet Hospital after calling around the area to find a vet that could see our dog after a few days of not eating. After a misdiagnosis from a different vet, it was a shock to hear from Dr. Reuter that he probably had cancer. He was only 6 years old. Though I had never met any of the staff before, they all treated us with compassion, empathy, and patience. I'm very grateful to everyone who helped us say good bye to our friend.

I really appreciate this office! My cat has been in and out of their office for an urgent issue and they have been so kind and accommodating. They really seem to care about your pets well being, communicate well and do what they can to get you seen quickly.

From the first step into the building, the experience was wonderful. You can 100% tell that these folks are passionate about people's fur babies. I took my very shy and nervous cat in for her annual and the care my girl received was gentle and compassionate. Although she was very nervous and timid, they were able to make her as calm as possible and complete her exam with zero issues. They even checked in the following day to see how she was doing!
Thank you all for such a wonderful experience! I'm so happy to have found you all. It brings me such relief to know my little one has a care team like you all in her corner.
