This is the third time I've tried to learn to play acoustic guitar and I've finally stuck with it! Steve is passionate, patient, and kind! His enthusiasm for music is contagious and definitely contributed to me sticking with it for a year now. Steve was suggested to me by a good friend of mine for guitar lessons for my son. He was tremendous. He engaged with my boy at an adult level and instilled a real sense of music appreciation and professionalism in him. After every lesson my boy would be jazzed (no pun intended) about some aspect of what he’d learned. Mind blown and spark lit. I can’t recommend Steve highly enough.
Though I was only with him for the beginning guitar course, I can confidently say that Mr. Steve is one of the best music teachers I’ve ever had. Aside from being a great teacher, super talented bass player/overall musician (also a phenomenal luthier), Mr. Steve is exceptionally personable and is truly an all around great guy. From the adaptability of his lessons to the opportunities he offers (Concerts and ways to connect and play with amazing musicians) there’s nothing I can think of about LBS that wouldn’t make it a great choice!
