I cracked a tooth and went to this dentist to restore it. He applied the Bioclear crown but did not remove all of the crack so the tooth never healed. Also, the shape and feel of the Bioclear crown did not feel like a natural tooth. He was not willing to work with me or give me a refund, even a partial refund. 6 months later, that tooth broke apart and had to be completely pulled. I spent over $2300 for a tooth I no longer have. I would avoid this dentist.

As a travel Registered Dental Hygienist who has had the opportunity to work in many different offices, I don’t give praise lightly. So this review truly comes from experience and careful observation.
This is a dentist who genuinely practices with the patient’s best interest at heart. His approach is refreshingly honest. He recommends only what is necessary, never pushing aggressive treatment plans or upselling procedures patients don’t truly need. In an industry where that can sometimes be a concern, his integrity stands out immediately.
The quality of his work speaks for itself. Everything is done with precision, intention, and longevity in mind. You can tell he takes pride in doing things right.
What makes the experience even better is the team around him. From the front office to the clinical staff, everyone is incredibly kind, welcoming, and genuine. They treat patients like family, not just appointments on a schedule. It creates an environment that feels both professional and personal in the best way.
Having worked alongside many providers, I can confidently say I know what good dentistry looks like and this is it. It’s easy for me to recognize when treatment recommendations are excessive versus truly needed, and this office consistently operates with honesty and integrity.

I highly recommend Dr Stewart for holistic dental services. He has the top of the line equipment, is extremely knowledgeable and goes the extra mile to ensure you get the care you need. His entire staff is friendly, knowledgeable and makes the experience a breeze from start to finish. I am so grateful to have found this place and I’m happy to drive a 4 hour round trip to get this quality of dental care. Highly recommend!!!

I love Dr. Stewart. He is so kind, patient, gentle and caring. He does amazing work. If you want an alternative to a crown; if you want to have your amalgam fillings replaced - I highly recommend his alternative - biomimetics - restorative dentistry. If you live in the SW Denver area check out his website - there is a lot of educational info there.

Dr. Stewart is a MUST see for all of your dental needs. Coming from a father who was a dentist and a periodontist I am extremely picky. The one thing I am VERY concerned with and a little particular with is DENTAL Health. Dr. Stewart knows what is best and I LOVE that he and his staff are focused on taking care of your oral health in the most holistic approach possible. We came to him several years ago so my husband could have his fillings removed and the mercury taken out of his mouth. He has been extremely kind, detailed (in explanation of procedures and in working in your mouth), reassuring, helpful and wise in all that he does with YOU as his patient. Becky is amazing and she definitely keeps things moving. I love that I can catch up with her every visit and she has even kept an eye on my 3 kiddos during a cleaning. She is helpful, engaging, friendly and has great recommendations. PLEASE don't go anywhere else! He is the best and I hope one day my 3 young kids are able to see Dr. Stewart- don't EVER retire Dr. Stewart. :)

The entire staff at South Lakewood Dental is great. I appreciate that Dr. Stewart is a Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine and Dentist. The dental office has a very cool vibe.

I have been going to Dr Stewart for years. Unfortunately it isn't the same place. They They gave me a crown and fixed a filling (that was there filling and less than 3 years old). They told me it should be around 300. But when I checked my credit card statement, they charged me $2,300! I was under anesthesia and they outright stole from me! Seems they are more concerned about making money and robbing people, then the health of your teeth. Check around, even if you are a current customer, your wallet will thank you and your brain won't hurt as bad being taken advantage of. Or, if they do quote you, make sure its not verbal because THEY WILL CHANGE THE PRICE ON YOU!!! Also, look at your credit card statement before you pay your bill! I don't know how it slipped by that they charged me $2,300 instead of the $300 they quoted me! They are also now won't answer my calls or return my voice mails asking how this happened or if they will .ake it right. Again, Dr Stewart is only concerned about how much money money he can get out of you. He and his team talk nice and sweet, but they refuse to male this right or talk about like they pretend to in their response. Don't be fooled like I was for years. Go somewhere else.
