Absolutely love this school! Master Black is an amazing instructor and leader. She has a great team of instructors. This school teaches valuable life skills like, discipline, honesty, self esteem, integrity, etc. My son gained so much confidence since joining. We will be life long ATA family!

Such an amazing school! I have been a student of Master Blacks ATA school since the end of 2021. I could not think of a better martial arts environment.Not only is the school extremely community-oriented, but the Taekwondo curriculum is outstanding. I feel more confident since I joined this school, and I have learned many life skills that have helped me through school, work, and relationships. Furthermore, the instructors at this school are incredible and continuously train to become better and better each and every day to help students improve. I would highly recommend this ATA school to anyone. The only thing that I wish could happen is me joining the school earlier...read full review

Absolutely amazing place! Wonderful with kids. Master Black and the other instructors are always kind and welcoming. It feels like you're with family as soon as you walk in the door. I enrolled my 5yr old son in their Tigers class and I could feel the difference in him after the very first class. He's typically shy and reluctant to join in groups with other kids but not here! Great emphasis on manners, respect, and discipline. I now plan on joining myself. They have classes for all ages and abilities at various times throughout the day. I highly recommend to anyone.

Traditional martial art school for ages 3 thru adult featuring traditional taekwondo (designed for the various age groups including preschool, elementary, middle school, high school and adult), self-defense, leadership, performance, life skills (especially self-esteem, respect and confidence), fitness and competition training. All levels are welcome to this family-friendly school. Actively involved in this community since 1990. Our school is an active member of the American Taekwondo Association. Our Presiding Grand Master is M.K. Lee. (He will be visiting our school again in September 2024). The Chief Instructor of our Lakewood school is 8th Degree, Chief Master Corina Black.
