Best Haircuts in town. Best barbers in town. The AVBS has been serving the Applewood area for nearly 70 years now! Since 1954, this barber shop has been in the business and show that they plan to be up and running for many years to come. Having just moved out here 2 years ago, I was in need of a shop like this that treats you kindly and who have a great staff that's dedicated to their clientele. Having been to some of the others around in the area, AVBS tops all of them. My haircuts here are always coming out clean. I've had multiple of the girls here cut my hair, and it's always come out the same. Great consistency. I would highly recommend coming here.... read full review

I rarely review places, but I’ve always had a good experience so I came here to give a 5 star review. It turns out I already did that 2 years ago and forgot about it, so take that for whatever it’s worth. These folks are consistently great!

Great shop with the best barber!! I’ve been taking my two boys to see Valerie for 8 years. She knows exactly what my kids want and consistently delivers. She stays up to date with the latest trends and styles and offers great styling advice. I will never take my boys anywhere else; Val is the best barber in Denver!!!
