I had a massage today with Elliot and he was absolutely amazing—very skilled and professional. I left feeling relaxed and very pleased with his work.
Unfortunately, my experience with Hand & Stone itself was frustrating. When I called yesterday, I was told my gift card was valid for a 90-minute hot stone massage. They even booked me based on that information. But when it came time to check out, I was told the gift card only covered 50 minutes and that I owed an additional $60.

The massage therapists I’ve had are very good but Hand and Stone has multiple service terms that make it a bad place to have a subscription. I wouldn’t recommend it. First, I had accumulated a bunch of massages due to my work schedule. They make using up the excess massages exceedingly difficult and they are very inflexible. I’ve tried to escalate the issue and they are evasive and unwilling to help. The gist of the response is ‘too bad’. Second, they use an app for tipping called Tippy which charges either the customer or the staff. It’s not transparent and the staff would be better off getting cash tips which is what I prefer.
I got a facial here today with Tasha and it was the best facial I have ever had. She was so knowledgeable about all of the products I needed for my skin type and the goals I am trying to reach. My face literally feels like it’s brand new. It is so soft and glowy! Can’t wait to come back! Thanks girlie, you’re the best!
