Up and Running PT is great! I had a hip flexor strain when I first arrived and after working with Joey, the pain went away pretty quickly. Joey is really attentive and does a thorough job at addressing all of my concerns. Now I am working on some long-standing instabilities and weaknesses with him, and excited to finally work through those.

AJ and the whole crew at Up & Running PT are awesome! After working with them for a couple sessions and following their advice, I was running long miles with zero pain! Their facility is state of the art and staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. Highly recommend!!

I've had tendonitis issues for years now - Chandler helped me get back to doing my favorite activities in a reasonable timeframe given my circumstances.

This is not your grandparents' PT clinic. I would recommend Up and Running to friends and family.

I've been seeing Dr. Hannah for pelvic floor PT and my experience has been great so far. I've been trying to get back into running for over a year now and felt like I was not making much progress (with my main issue of leaking while running and lifting things). Dr. Hannah is so easy to work with - she talks through all your symptoms and takes a more holistic approach to your pelvic health. Every appointment is different and can range from breath work, pelvic floor coordination, and overall strength training. I always learn a lot and feel like I got a good workout in. In ~two months, my runs have improved significantly. I would highly recommend.

I am so grateful to be working with Dr. Joey. I worked with a well-rounded PT for years as an ultra-runner and nurse but noticed my running gait was abnormal and lower extremity strength was frightfully asymmetric. Dr. Joey and I started with a gait analysis which showed significant room for improvement. He provided me with a few cue which improved my gait immediately while I worked on exercises to improve my strength, stability, and force while running. I quickly moved to twice-a-month sessions and could feel and see improvement in my running and lifting. After four months, my gait score improved from 21% to 60%. The paces that used to exhaust me felt easy. Most importantly, Dr. Joey knew we had to compromise to make the drills and exercises achievable. We worked within my existing schedule and training to expand by 20% to get the targeted goals completed. I found sending questions or pictures in between sessions allowed me to progress more quickly and make the most of the time between sessions. The practice manager was always able to get me in for an appointment despite my weird schedule which is very valuable.

Nothing but great things to say about this place! Conner was very accommodating and helped me every step of the way along my road to recovery. He asked lots of thoughtful questions to get a good understanding of what was going on, and created manageable yet effective exercises for me to complete. 10/10 experience.

I started seeing Dr. Hannah for some pelvic floor issues. I know that pelvic floor issues can be embarrassing to talk about or seek out help for.I am 59 years old and post menopausal. I have been experiencing frequency and minor leaking and GI issues for a few years. I also have one minor and one major pelvic floor prolapse. I was skeptical and didn't think that much could be except maybe surgery. However, I started seeing Dr. Hannah. She is extremely knowledgeable and easy to talk too. Over the course of 12 weeks she put me through a progression of pelvic floor exercises. Starting from learning to breathe correctly, to kegels to working on other muscles that support the pelvic floor such as core and glutes. Over all my symptoms have dramatically improved. And a really nice surprise is that my overall strength and mobility have greatly improved!
I highly recommend Dr. Hannah for pelvic floor therapy!

I'm partway through rehabilitating an overuse injury, and I couldn't be more thankful for Dr. Joey and Dr. AJ at Up and Running PT. I'm encouraged that my injury is improving quickly, and I anticipate being able to work back up to my typical milage stronger than before thanks to Dr. Joey's plan of care.

Updated 6/26: I'm adding to my review with even more confidence in Dr. Joey's expertise. After rehabing plantar fasciopathy on my right side with Dr. Joey's help (I'm now able to run without pf pain!), I needed to address a knee issue on my left side. I have progressed in strength and have been able to start training for a fall race thanks to Dr. Joey. I can't recommend Up and Running PT enough!

It is my pleasure to recommend Up and Running Physical Therapy in Fort Collins, specifically Matt Fothergill. I initially came to Matt to work on a few minor injuries but expanded quickly to tackling root causes that had prevented me from running an injury-free half marathon. 5 under my belt, 5 recurring injuries—all the same. So frustrating. Matt zeroed in on some key weaknesses I had and over five weeks of sessions and consistent homework on my behalf, I tackled the St. Louis half with my nephew. I finished injury-free the first time in my life. It was unexpectedly motivating, with me signing up for a duathlon and my first marathon later this year. I owe this newfound enthusiasm and confidence to Matt at Up and Running and now look forward to training smarter and tackling new challenges each year.

I started PT due to nagging knee pain/stiffness, weakness, and numbness/tingling extending down my calf. My symptoms had gotten so uncomfortable that I couldn't bike, hike, or swim....all my favorite obsessions. Daily fun activities like playing with my kids and dogs, and gardening were painful. My knee issue was also bothersome at work and made sleeping difficult. Thinking about summer approaching and missing out on adventure time with family and friends was very difficult to accept. I did my best to take care of my knee on my own, but after months of failed attempts to rest/re-strengthen/return to activity, I knew I needed to get a clear diagnosis and treatment plan. I went to Up and Running per the suggestion of a few friends and could not be more grateful for my experience there. I received a clear diagnosis, a treatment plan, home exercise program, and purposeful 1:1 treatment. I also had an exceptional response to dry needling, am pain free, and getting stronger each week. The clinic has excellent equipment, is clean and welcoming, and staff are friendly...I look forward to going to therapy each week. As an occupational therapist and athlete, I depend on my body's physical capabilities every day for work and play. The therapists at Up and Running, hold this same value and are focused on getting me back to my life....not just treating my tendonitis. Thanks Chandler and all the crew at Up and Running!
