It took me three times of calling over and over and over to get an appointment set up, they were unwilling to look into if anyone at their practice took my insurance so I had to play phone tag back and forth with my insuranceall day instead, and I ended up missing my first appointment because of an emergency and was told I could not come back or reschedule and was charged $90 for it. If you want someone to advocate for you, if you want someone to put you and your health first, especially as a neurodivergent person trying to find resources and medication, this is NOT THE PLACE.

Dr. Duran is a FANTASTIC doctor and individual, and I’m so glad to have found her. She genuinely cares about her patients and is so friendly and kind. However, trying to reach her can be so difficult it’s almost not worth how amazing she is. Today I was put on hold for 15 minutes, the call hung up, no one called me back, and no one knew what I was talking about when I called back 10 minutes later. I just needed helped with a prescription issue.
I’ve had maybe 4-5 appointments here in the last 2-3 years, and every time I have to call multiple times to get an answer or I’m put on hold for extended periods of time, and appointment times are weeks out. It’s already difficult to navigate our healthcare system, and this office does not make it any easier, which is something that should be important to us all. I know the state of healthcare is not great in general in this country, but I really should be able to bring up concerns in a timely manner with my doctor and that just hasn’t been the case.

Christine Duran saved my life. Literally. When I came to her I was the sickest I’ve ever been in my entire life at 35 years old. I’d never had a single health problem and I was on deaths door. She got me the specialists I needed to help diagnose my Ulcerative Colitis and never wavered when I asked questions or needed help. I’ve been seeing her since then and adore her. She’s kind, compassionate, knowledgeable, funny, caring, and very engaged. There are so few primary providers like her. She’s the absolute best. I can’t thank her enough for not giving up on me and helping me at both my low and high points during my healthcare journey.
