My mother passed away unexpectedly while a patient in 2013. I question what transpired from the time I left at 7 pm and when I came back the next day at 7 am and why with a change in her condition I wasn't notified. She was to be released that day. It was a painful experience and any question of wrongdoing would have been met with she was elderly. She was only 82 years old and living on her own by herself. Sometimes you must forgive and try to move on. Conversely, my brother spent almost 3 weeks in ICU on life support in 2017. The entire staff could not have done more for our family. Our ER Dr Dr. Bakes was excellent once we finally saw him. We are waiting hours for any visits from MD and case management to happen. Wait is very long (30 min plus) when my father-in-law pushes his button to get help for toileting. It just doesn't feel like they have enough staff but everyone is friendly and good at their jobs.
Swedish medical Center is one of the best, one of the top ten stroke center and neurosurgical facility in the nation. Patients are flown in from all over so there were delays to our procedure. The operating room with state of art equipment and very clean. Behind the glass room are technician working on computers. The nurses and all the staff are professional, mindful and knowledgeable. Even the valet, kitchen were nice. Dr. Ian Kaminsky performed my husband's angioplasty and aneurysm repair. I have no qualms that Dr. Kiminsky and staff are the best to save my husband's life and left only a little scar on his wrist. Thank you very much.
