Visit with Dr Sartori as a new patient at the Littleton location. She would not refill medications I had been taking for years, stating it was not "standard of care", not true, nor would she order CP supplies stating a sleep study was needed, it isn't. To be kind I could excuse her ignorance of her young age or she is the product of the medical education she received. Either way, she is ignorant.

I'd like to post an updated review. It's been years since I've been here, but when I did go for what felt like mini-seizures and the ground shaking, the PCP I saw quickly wrote me off and said I had anxiety and prescribed me anti-anxiety medication. 6 months later, I had a grand mail seizure while at the gym and was diagnosed with a brain tumor and have been battling brain cancer ever since. Turns out I was right, I was having mini-seizures. It wasn't anxiety.

Do not go to this place! The administration is horrible, the billing is always wrong to the point I question their ethics. The doctors do not follow through with filling prescriptions, or sending test results. Dr. Walker was the lone star in this practice. Unfortunately he left. However, they keep his voicemail box active and keep him on the phone tree for scheduling appointments. Very dishonest and again leads to ethical issues.

Had an appointment with Dr. Hansen, and they switched doctors at the last minute to some new guy -this army doctor whose specialty is neurology. Instead of even looking at the symptoms I was having, they decided to draw a bunch of blood from me. Too much it seems because I ended up fainting. They should know that you're can't take that much blood at once. Long story short, I go in complaining about ringing in my ears, and based on my blood tests, the doctor wanted to prescribe me topical steroids because my T-levels were supposedly low. Don't know what that has to do with my T-levels, but I know that cortisol/adrenal fatigue which I suffer from has a lot to do with that, so even though the doctor didn't even address my original concern, I asked him if from the liter of blood he took, they had tested my cortisol levels. Answer: No. This place is an absolute joke. Don't go here.

Can I rate ZERO stars! I take my 81 year old mother there as well as myself. I've been going to them on and off for 10 years. I followed one of the Dr.s to their new practice about 3 years ago. The Dr. that worked there had to leave the practice because of their Shady Dealings. Can't say I blame them. I decided to leave this practice for reasons beyond my control and go back to Hansen's office...Big Mistake. I thought they were ok before and why not now. Well, NO...DO NOT GO THERE. They have dropped the ball so many times I can't count. I've gone days without my mom's Rx being filled due to lack of returning calls or even listening to them. . My most recent issue was being sent to a pain care management for my back pain. They were no longer able to write me a Narco Script. So I kept asking him for a Referral to a Pain Dr. finally after weeks and weeks the Dr. gave me a referral. I finally got an appointment to a pain specialist. I was set up for back injections two days before my new insurance kicked in on June 1st. I felt so lucky to have got scheduled for surgery being all my deductibles and out of pocket was met for the year. It was a relief that I wouldn't have to be paying so much money for the procedure to be done. Well, 1 day before the procedure I got a call from pain management and they told be that the PCP (Hansens') office has not sent in a referral yet? I'm like WHAT? It was requested on April 20th. I called Hansen's office and asked them to send it in as I'm going in for a procedure 1st thing in the morning. I also left a message on My Health Insurance Website about the issue and they called me that night and said they had left two messages on April 20th on Hansen's answering machine and they never called them back. They also told me they can not authorize the procedure without a referral from the PCP. So I called Hansen's Office again and spoke with Ann and she explained to me that it is not their place, that The pain specialist has to do it. So I called the pain specialist and they said NO, the PCP has to do it. I called Hansen back and Ann told me that my Insurance company won't pay for the procedure because my insurance changes in two days! So Here I am going back and forth with the PCP, Specialist and my Insurance company, REALLY? How is it that THEY don't know what they are doing? Why should I even be involved in this? I then got a call from Hansen's office apologizing that they should have done a referral! DUH! The initial request was sent to them April 20th, here it is May 29th? WTH Needless to say the procedure was cancelled and they never did send in a referral back-dated like they said they would do when they apologized! This Dr. has caused me a lot of pain, stress and money to boot. I'm a caregiver for my mom who has Alzheimer's and that is stressful enough. Who knew I'd have to go through so much just trying to take care of myself... These are only the most recent problems I had with them. I could write a book on their lack of knowledge and arrogant, self righteous attitudes. Maybe the practice should be called Attitude Family and Internal Medicine...lol funny, not funny :-( It is true since Dr. Hansen and his Wife started doing BioTe and Natural medicine in another office, the quality and service has completely dissolved. If I ran my business like this...I'd be OUT OF BUSINESS. This isn't over, stay tuned for Office Closure on the horizon. Cause I've only just begun.

Zero stars if I could. As other reviews state, this place is shady and a scam. I echo everything said in earlier reviews and will add comments about the non-doctor parts of this practice. Their website is barely functional. It has a moving background that CANNOT be good for patients with visual impairment. The online scheduler is worthless. I tried to schedule my annual exam 3 times. Each time, it took a receptionist over a week to call me in response to my online request, only to have them cancel for various reasons. One time they said I'm limited to one exam every 365 days (after speaking to my insurance, I learned this is an office practice and not my insurance company's.) The second time was cancelled for no reason. The third request took 9 days to respond to, and they told me they don't do new patient exams after 3:30pm (request was for 4:00)--so clearly they didn't even bother to look up that I'm an established patient of 4+ years there. They make you provide payment at time of check-in, even when it's a preventative care visit that your insurance will cover. So at present, my account has a credit that will forever roll forward because they refuse to refund it. I am changing doctors and this office will basically get to keep that credit because of their shady billing practices. After reading how much others lost in this scam, I feel grateful that mine is only $25. But still, there shouldn't be a credit at all! I have also been on the receiving end of bills for extraneous labs, as others mentioned. They drew 8 vials of blood for 3 different laboratories at one of my physicals. If you ever do successfully schedule a physical with this office, they make you come in a week ahead of time to draw blood--so that is two appointments, and two disruptions to your schedule. This is not very helpful or friendly to patients who are not privileged enough to have the luxury of time for twice the number of office visits as should be needed. This lack of concern for patients complements what I said about their website not being good for vision-impaired patients. These are the types of considerations that are very telling about an office's "bedside manner" treatment of its patients. I have also received what I would consider spam email from this office. Two of the physicians are into hormone therapy and weight loss "solutions" that remind me of pyramid schemes, and they have pushed these out to patients via emails. Avoid at all costs.

These guys do a great job. I had been having pain for years and had seen multiple doctors and here my doctor tested for something no one else had even considered and helped to get me a diagnosis. I am very grateful.

I do not recommend this office, they never return your calls, which has happened to me on several occasions. The office it's self is not the most warming atmosphere. I am from Lakewood CO, not sure why this is showing San Francisco CA

Littleton office: I also selected one Star because there was nothing lower. My husband and I had a horrible experience with this outfit. They lost our records from our prior doctor for months, blaming the other office for not sending them when they had. They charged me for two physicals in less than 4 months when I only went in the second time for a small medical test and Medicare would not pay for the 2nd one since it was classified as another "physical." I have heard that some doctors' offices charge for a 2nd physical like this because they get the full amount from the poor patient who doesn't realize what they are doing. Their claims to Medicare caused me many problems because they didn't code things right, sent blood work to outfits not in Medicare's reimbursement system, and numerous other things. Beware!

I wish I would have taken all the other bad reviews to heart and avoided this place. These guys have been shady since day one. Canceled appointments with incredibly short notice, unnecessary and expensive labs ordered which weren't covered by my insurance, very rude receptionist, and long wait times after I've shown up on-time for my appointment. I've been there twice and will not go back. Here are the reasons in more detail: 1. My first appointment which was supposed to be a physical lasted less than 5 minutes. Dr. Hansen walked in, asked me why I was there, ordered blood work, then left. Conversation lasted less than 5 minutes. I was then told to schedule an appointment for my physical by the nurse. Huh? I was under the impression that's why I was there. I scheduled an appointment for a month out because that's the earliest I could get in to see Dr. Hansen (apparently he only works two days a week). 2. A day or two before the appointment, the receptionist called me and told me that Dr. Hansen would not be in the office for my appointment. Apparently he had some certification he was getting renewed? Anyways, I didn't think that was a huge deal until I was informed he would not be back for over a month. I could schedule an appointment with another doctor for the same day or wait until Dr. Hansen gets back. Made me feel like this guy really doesn't care about building a relationship with his patients. I ended up scheduling with a different doctor because I didn't feel like waiting two months to go back. 3. Went in for the next appointment and the receptionist tried to make me pay a copay. My insurance explicitly says I do not owe a copay for a preventative visit. I showed her the paperwork indicating this and her response was that Altitude performs tests that go beyond a traditional physical exam. I asked her which tests these were because I had a extensive list in my hand of tests that my insurance covers and wanted to see which tests weren't on the list. She got frustrated with me, handed me a piece of paper and said "Just read this." I read it over and really all the paper said was that Altitude performs tests that go beyond a traditional physical. I told her that the piece of paper did not indicate which tests were "beyond a traditional physical" and she got upset with me. "Just forget it," she said and told me to sit down. I indicated to her that I was not trying to cause problems and I just wanted to know why a copay was required when my insurance company says it isn't. I ended up not paying the copay. After I received my explanation of benefits from my insurance company after the visit, it showed that insurance had covered the office visit portion of the bill in whole (labs were not included in this). Turns out i DIDN'T need to pay the copay! Super shady. 4. Here we are in January and I received the bill for the lab work. $680! Turns out Doug Hansen ordered a bunch of exotic lipid tests that were not covered by my plan. Now I might be on the hook for these tests (planning to dispute these charges). I know the tests were unnecessary because the doctor that saw me when Dr. Hansen bailed told me that Hansen likes to order these unnecessary tests because he is a lipidologist. I'm upset because they never asked for my consent before ordering a number of unnecessary, expensive tests. DON'T GO HERE!!!!
