The BEST person for my hair. I have been looking for someone to do my blonde hair with highlights and she is the best I've had in years. The hair grows out beautifully, the color is complimentary to my skin, the highlights are beautiful. Could not recommend Yelena enough.

Just go to Yelena! She's a master w/those scissors. No frills space...chair, mirror, washing station, scissors. You want a well constructed haircut...go to Yelena. Text her directly. Bonus in strip mall: Parking...free Vegetarian Thai Restaurant Donut/coffee place Tip...she's upstairs, door is unmarked, but you'll figure it out. Business marked Hair Salon...def "hidden talent" vibes :) Yelena doesn't say much but she's a total sweetheart. Show her pics of what you want and she'll deliver. Got a good introductory price ($53+tip...$70 total) but will definitely return at her $80+tip regular price...totally worth it...actually a bargain for her level of experience & craft.

I found Yelena on Groupon - I was looking at the full highlight, hair cut, deep condition and blow dry and she had a good deal! She was able to fit me in within 24 hours of when I called AND my hair looks the best it has in years. I showed her a picture of what I wanted and to be honest I've never walked away with my hair so closely resembling the request not to mentioned one of the quickest services (2hours!)! I had been getting my hair done previously at some beauty schools ( I always thought the schools did "ok" ish job for a steal of a price) and she was even able to recognize this little secret and call out their mistakes without me mentioning anything lol overall...read full review
