All about the co-pay. I've been a patient of the McDonalds for a few years now. Recently I was required to see Dr. McDonald to get a referral for a Dermatologist. Showed up 20 minutes early for my appointment and was asked for a $45 co-pay which I immediately wrote a check. When I handed it to the receptionist, she said she needed to ask the Doctor if they would accept it. She returned and said they don't accept checks. I said I could go get cash but it will take a few minutes and she said we don't accept cash either. Unreal. The poor reviews are not accurate. I've been dealing with a cancer scare / a ton of invasive testing for two months and Dr. Kathy has been nothing but supportive and caring. She schedules regular check ins with me to make sure I'm making my biopsy and oncology appointments so things don't progress and get worse. She's not trying to get a copay out of me when making these check in appointments (like some reviews claim)...she's making sure my tumor doesn't spread by reminding me to keep up with my appointments with specialists. That is a primary doc's job.Also, the staff remembers me and my situation, are empathetic, and have been nothing but kind and helpful. Five stars...read full review

The customer service here is terrible, came in for an appointment waited an hour after my time, none of their equipment worked, I needed a shot and they said they ran out and made me come back a week later and pay another co pay. If you care about your health avoid this place.
