why tf are there no walk in appointments for students who are sick and deserve timely care on their own campus? If you’re a sick student you can’t wait for a couple of days for an appointment to become available. I walked there at opening time (8 am ish) with my throat swollen, voice lost, feverish and on verge of tears, and rude receptionist wouldn’t let me see anyone and tried to shoo me out. In my freshman year, they misdiagnosed a condition I had due to medical racism (not knowing what a condition looked like on darker skin) and assigned me a steroid that made it worse and I only got saved by going to Stanford hospital.

This is the worst medical clinic that I have ever been to. After months of (what I would deem) medical malpractice, I am sicker than ever. I am so sorry to every other student that has to go here, only God can save you now.

I had a terrible experience at Vaden while sick with covid. I was late to my appointment by 6 minutes as I had covid and could barely walk or breathe. They told me they couldn't accommodate me and rescheduled it to later in the afternoon. I'm appalled by the total lack of humanity as I was on the verge of collapsing and barely made it out of the building. Im also disgusted that they do not account for these types of extenuating circumstances. When I came back for my second appointment, they confirmed that I had covid and basically sent me on my way with good wishes and instructions to hydrate and isolate.
