I’m sure at one point he was a caring and competent doctor, but it’s time to retire, sir.

I want to see Dr Lavian for pain associated with a herniated disc, he ordered an x-ray, which is not the proper process for that injury and then he told me that I was completely fine. I went to the physical therapist and she confirmed that I definitely have a herniated disc the way I was walking. Finally got the doctor to order an MRI and confirm that I had a 13 mm protrusion from my spine. This misdiagnosis caused me to have surgery months of rehab disability. It was an absolute nightmare.

The office was absolutely awful to deal with and delayed the disability claim for weeks, leaving me with absolutely nothing to support myself

Then they found out I might have a kidney stone, Dr Lavian waited three months to call me and confirm the results despite the office telling me they would let me know if there was anything wrong.

If I had the resources, I would sue them for medical malpractice. But anyone contemplating complete care and Dr Lavian run for the hills while you still can.

The incompetence of the staff is staggering. Had to repeat basic information 4 times. Was then given the wrong address and they managed to put in the wrong insurance information to a referral provider. The doctor and nurses seemed OK, but it's a big office so you may not been seen by Dr Lavian himself.

My mom has been going to dr. Lavian for many years.. as years passed.. that place has gone to shit.. his receptionist are rude and careless.. they will call my mom to schedule an appointment and on the day of her appointment they tell her she doesn’t have an appointment.. today we waited 3 hours so that they could tell her that her doctor can’t see her today, if she would like to see another doctor? That was unacceptable.. 1hour would have been reasonable and she would have agreed to it but 3 hours of time waisted.. why be a doctor if you can’t see your patients..and you need to find new receptionist that knows how to send out a prescription and schedule appointments.

Staff is Pleasant and helpful. Dr. Lavian is super nice and listens.
Although I used to get in within a week, currently it takes over a month to get help unless you're extremely insistent.
Sometimes information gets missed or some miscommunication occurs. I've missed some phone appointments because they had some random number on file for me. They make an effort to accommodate though, and any other qualms I have relate to the horrible approval process for referrals through the insurance company and the long-distance elements of this medical group.

Dr. David Lavian is great it’s hard to find a doctor who will actually take the time to listen to you and genuinely cares about your health & wellbeing. He gave me several referrals to specialists based on my needs and concerns, he really listens. *****

This is the worst office I have ever seen. The employees are completely incompetent and have no idea about customer service. Not to mention that they didn't call me back when they promised and lost my requests. Last year they mistakenly gave me several wrong referrals to the wrong specialists. And again this year I went to the doctor complaining of chest pain. At the office they gave me a referral for a mammogram. But when I came to the Radnet office they told me that the referral was wrong and that I needed a diagnostic mammogram. On Monday I called the doctor's office. The employee promised to call me back about my issue during the day or send an email. And so on Tuesday at lunchtime, having received no answer (again, as before), I called myself. Another employee tells me that yes, the person who was there yesterday is not here today, she left her a note, but she still hasn't received it. She told me that the doctor ordered a diagnostic mammogram, but due to an error in the office, they gave me a referral for a regular one. And I asked her to send me a referral today. After that, the employee started asking me strange questions and it was clear that she was not going to send me anything today. Although the first time in the doctor's office, they gave me a referral in 10 minutes. Absolutely incompetent employees, zero customer service. I recommend not wasting your time and looking for another doctor.

How do you make an appointment to see the doctor?!? Called repeatedly over two days. Went through all combinations of voice prompts. Eventually you'll get to a ringing phone line, but it just rings and eventually disconnects the call!!! There's no actual way to send an email, text, leave a voicemail...nothing. Why would anyone trust this office, let alone this doctor, to manage your healthcare if he can't even field a phone call? If anyone knows how to actually get them to pick up a phone, let me know.

This doctor's office is the most unorganized office I've ever been to. They don't reach out with test results, they confirm appointments only to tell you it's cancelled when you arrive in the office! So disappointing to see such a terrible front office staff.
