I had a minor medical issue on the 4th of July. I showed up right when they opened, and I was out in under an hour. The staff and doctor I saw were wonderful! I was dreading how much time it would take on a holiday, and I was pleasantly surprised. The nurse even found a pharmacy close by that was open on the holiday. I can't say enough good things about them!
This used to be an amazing urgent care but now it sucks... and that's from someone who used to have Kaiser. Here's what to expect. . Cold service . Inept reception who will not properly input insurance info leaving you with the full bill . Long waits with no one in front of you. . Rude doctors . Doctors who don't care and barely examine the problem while blindly giving antibiotics And I realize this is in California so this last one will probably apply to other practices in the state as well but they are backwardly obsessive about covid 3 years later still like a third world country. I'm blessed to live in a better state where we have safely moved on with our lives. But still we came for an ear infection for my toddler, they were obsessive over him wearing a mask the whole time and kept pushing the covid vaccine on him a toddler! Then they blindly gave him antibiotics without even looking at him. All this plus a long wait time while no one was there waiting but us. They don't care about you here go somewhere else if you can.
It had been a while since I had been at this facility and my issue was not urgent so I called ahead of time. They do not make same-day appointments but I was allowed to go in as a walk-in. The front receptionist was friendly and informative. The doctor (Dr. Pin) was great. My only negative comment was that they do not allow anyone to wait inside. We have had triple digit temperatures for weeks now and I was sweating and dripping wet by the time I was called in for my appointment. I understand the need to be safe and the concerns regarding COVID. Next time unfortunately, even though I like this facility and I like the care that I receive, I will probably go to another facility that allows me to wait inside without being baked outside. Thank you.
