Utter lack of professionalism and care. Much more inclined to help dogs than cats as I’ve brought both. Incorrect information given by doctors, and unwillingness to help in most situations. Avoid Dr. Susman

I’ve been a loyal customer of Bishop Ranch for over 25 years, but since COVID, the service has drastically declined. While many reviews still praise them, my experience has been far from good, especially with my aging pet.
Problems included unprofessional front desk staff, billing issues (like being charged twice for the same medications), long waits for appointments, and poor communication from the DVMs. When I questioned their treatment recommendations and billing, the staff became dismissive, and I was unable to get a direct response from the DVMs. They insisted on frequent visits for a condition that wasn’t improving despite medication, and when I questioned the charges for repeat office visits, I was told by the owner, Dr. Delano, that he’d resolve it. But after several more issues, he abruptly severed the relationship with no explanation, accusing me of not trusting their care, which was never the case.
Their lack of care for my pets’ well-being, poor communication, and disorganized billing practices are unacceptable. I’ve moved my pets’ care to another vet and will be filing compl aints with the veterinary board and BBB. If you love your pets, avoid this place—they only care about overcharging you. i

Have been going to them for years. Service increasing been deteriorating. Never see same vet more than once. Last time went in for a follow up dog got kennel cough only being there for 30 min. Recommend finding a sole provider where you can form a relationship. When I told them I was not happy with them. No discussion just summarily dismissed and told here are your records....goodbye. Like you are just one in a million and someone leaving after 8 years happens everyday and they could care less. Find another provider, 🙏 please.

Excellent care. From the time I called at 6:15 am till I settled up, professional service and care. Dr. Capelleti was thorough and demonstrated a real concern and care. Our first time there with our new pup. We will be back. Keep up the good work

We’ve been seeing Dr. Kirsten Williams for years, and she has been absolutely excellent with our Bernese Mountain Dog and more recently with our Coton. I really appreciate that she brings both conventional and holistic approaches to her care and has a deep understanding of all breeds, including the unique needs of large breeds. She is extremely thorough, wonderfully kind to animals, and you can truly tell how much she cares. Dr. Williams always follows up, whether by email or otherwise, and makes sure we feel supported every step of the way. We’re grateful to have her caring for our pets and highly recommend her!

My dog was given an unnecessary surgery on his ear. All they seem to be more concerned about money. Half the time i didnt get a straight answer regarding my pets health. Im currently with another vet.

Dr. Cappelletti is amazing! She clearly loves animals and is very compassionate in addition to having exceptional knowledge and veterinary skill. The entire staff is warm, friendly, and supportive. We highly recommend Dr Cappelletti and the team at Bishop Ranch!

Dr. Mitch London was our Doc other day! My two boys Tiberius and Nanuq just loved him and that is important to us. Don't like a stressed dog(s). He was very thoughtful and had a lot of good information and fallowed up with an email with all that good information. Keep up the good work Dr. London!!
