What I don't understand is how he is still in practice? He is the worst doctor I've ever seen in all of my years . He literally wanted to refer me out for every single issue I went in for what was his job exactly? if he was referring patients out for every single issue he should just retire he's terrible.

Dr. Silver races through a litany of diseases to get a 'history', his 'physical' exam is very, very minimal with no feedback, he had an assistant administer an EKG but didn't return to the room to give the results, he briefly went over my blood lab results and said I needed repeat labs and a follow-up appointment in 6 mos... even though the results were better than the prior three years' labs, which my previous internist said were good (this was confirmed by a second doctor following my appointment with Dr. Silver). And at one point when I asked what the cholesterol number was and he said I could read it at home or ask my husband to explain it to me. He then stood up to leave and while standing by the door asked if I had any questions or concerns. When I mentioned one issue he said he didn't know and left the room. I went to Dr. Silver because it's hard to find a doctor that's taking new patients-- but I'll keep looking.

I am going to add to these one star reviews and wish I had read them before seeing Doctor Silver. I called for a same day appt or telehealth and the receptionist said someone would get back to me in 24-48 hours unless I wanted to mark this urgent. So I marked it urgent. The moment Dr. Silver walked in the office he said "so what is it that is so urgent about your old injury that you need me to stay and see you at the end of the day?" This continued through an exam-with all my clothes on-of my lower back and him scheduling an MRI and saying we will call you if anything shows up in the results. I am shocked at how rude he was through the whole exam and now wish I had checked him out on YELP before ever wasting my time on seeing him. Ughhh. Now I need to find a new doctor. I'll check a Yelp for sure before seeing anyone else. Only see Doctor silver if you cannot get into an urgent care or ER.

Came here searching for a new primary care doctor since I'm new to the area. The office staff is extremely rude, doc didn't have the time of day for me, acted like I was an inconvenience. I had lab work done, and no one in that office doctors included wanted to review them with me. I would & will never come here again!

That was the worst doctor experience I've ever had. I left in tears, and so disappointing!! I came in with real health concerns and was told I was to young to be sick and it was all in my head and that the only doctor I should be seeing until I'm 60 years old is an ob-gyn....seriously...yeah cause thats the only thing that could possibly be wrong with any woman...so rude and sexist!! I can not even believe this doctor is still being able to practice medicine and get paid. After experiencing what I did I looked up reviews on him and so many people express the same feels...I really don't know why he is still working cause it's obvious he's not wanting to help people anymore...I hope he at least care about people at some point in his carrier but it's obvious he doesn't now!!

I agree with these low reviews I started seeing Dr Silver because it was impossible to get an appt anywhere in the area and I stopped seeing him because he didn't really seem to care or have any answers for anything I came in for. I don't think I ever made eye contact with him. He would walk in, ask a few questions, then walk out. Plus, although I respect hesitancy to prescribe drugs, his stance on never prescribing- ever- made it difficult to continue seeing him. Nice enough guy, clean office, but that's not what I need in a doctor.

Wish there was a "no star option" I was the unfortunate recent person to end up in this office. It was to be an interview to find a new Primary care Dr. since I have just recently retired and moved to the area. It was a FAIL. The office staff are very nice and try to be helpful. But this person Dr. Silver was just really very unprofessional. His first comment to me was that he does not write prescriptions. ( I have some from a previous Dr.) then told me I need to lose weight ( I know this) Then based on one of the prescriptions he tells me to see a psychiatrist! Then when I asked what is a DO. He tells me that he can do manipulations as in Chiropractic, I ask about issues with my foot and adjustment type needs, he then tells me he does not do manipulations because he has slipped discs! When I ask if he might refer a Chiropractor he says no. He does all of this without ever looking at me, looking at my face , he just stared down at his computer. I now would like to know just exactly what it is that he does do? Since he made it clear what he does not do. I wanted a Dr. to build a relationship with going forward and all I felt was uncomfortable. I felt as though I were an inconvenience to him and I would never be able to trust him. He wanted to pass everything off to anyone else and really was not having any interest in me as a human being. I felt dismissed and really saddened by the whole experience. Add insult to injury the Fcpp office that he is affiliated with will not allow me to try another Dr. in their facility unless I wait 3 years to be considered a new patient because I guess now , somehow I belong to this Dr. Silver. I wish I had seen these yelp reviews before going to see him. The process for trying to find a Dr. Is dismal and painful and top this off with now I have to pay this person for the whole 12-15 mins and I literally got Nothing for it. I hope that this review will help the next person. Please choose someone else, look at the reviews and take them seriously. I also hope that the people who are in charge of things will take a look and try to fix the problems.

I have never left a negative review in my life. Anyone in a service industry deserves respect and understanding. However, my experience was so shocking, I feel it is necessary for others to know. I made an appointment due to some concerns with my eye having blurred vision. The call center rep was efficient, friendly, and very helpful, even made a same day appointment for me! I went back to work, and missed a call from Christine Burg's assistant saying I should go to the ER. Obviously, this was upsetting, so I called to get a better explanation. I was shaken and scared and really needed answers before going to the Emergency Room which usually indicates an extreme or life threatening condition. Instead of gently helping me understand I was repeatedly told that the reason for the ER recommendation was because "they didn't know me/my medical history" This doctor is in the FCPP medical group of which I have been a patient of the OBGYN department for 10+ years (who have been absolutely incredible through the pregnancy and birth of both my children and very attentive to my overall health. I love them.), however this did not seem to matter. The assistant then told me I could go to an Ophthalmologist if I knew of one, and I said I was unclear about the difference between and Optometrist and an Ophthalmologist, which is when I was told I was frustrated "and do I want her to help me or not". I was not frustrated. I was scared and confused and wanting a measure of sensitivity. Her tone and attitude immediately upon taking my call was annoyed and short. I said I was sorry to have upset her, and that I would just go and hung up. Needless to say I was a sobbing wreck and completely lost about how to proceed with my health issue. I ended up at an optometrist office who were kind and gentle and understanding, immediately referring me to a specialist who was able to make a next day appointment to be seen. To be clear I never saw or spoke with Nurse Practitioner Christine Burg, only her assistant. Bottom line is this: if you are not a patient of this office and have concerns about your health, I would NOT recommend this practice because if "they don't know you" they will send you to the emergency room.

Randall Silver is a complete asshole. Spent about 5 minutes in the room and proceeded to tell my significant other that his pain/ injuries were imagined when he has medical records of the car accident as well a referral of misalignment and a injured trachea from a well known chiropractor then refused to give us a referral to an oral maxillary surgeon after finally admitting he needed one. When we asked why, his concern was how we were going to pay for it; which is completely inappropriate and we'd already shown proof of insurance. My significant other asked him if he was in a rush and was snapped at by Silver as clearly he has absolutely no interest in actually treating his patients. Only billing them for that short ridiculous visit and then shoving them out the door. An awful man who abuses his title of doctor. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND.

When Dr. Lotz retired from FCPP I was eventually handed over to Dr. Silver. At our first meeting, he told me that he would not treat me for insomnia, anxiety, restless leg syndrome or monitor my kidney health ( I am a kidney donor and I have to monitor my kidney health annually), all of which Dr. Lotz was treating me for. He told me that based on my records he believed that I was in third stage kidney disease. He said he would give me a referral to a psychiatrist for insomnia and anxiety, he would give me a referral to a neurologist for restless legs and a nephrologist for my kidney function. Other than removing a mole, he has been of no other medical assistance to me. He never gave me any referrals. After several months, I contacted psychiatrist on my own, Dr. Feingold, but could not get an appointment without a referral from Dr. Silver since he was on record as my primary care physician. It took several calls to finally get him to make the referral. Dr. Feingold is excellent. I contacted neurologist, Dr. Price, and again I could not get an appointment without a referral from Dr. Silver. Again, it took several calls to Dr. Silver's office to get a referral. Dr. Price is excellent. Now it has been over 1 year and I still don't have a nephrologist. I have called at least 4 times to request a referral to Dr. Galperin, who I found on my own, but won't make an appointment without a referral. I only have 1 kidney because I am a kidney donor. AND, Dr. Silver says I am in third stage kidney disease. If I am in fact in kidney failure then he is putting me a life threating situation. I know..I know... shame on me of sticking with FCPP and someone who cares so little for his patient.
