Pastime is the only shop I go to! I’ve followed Ben’s work since he moved back to the Bay and him and Nate opened the shop up. Very clean and comfortable shop, all the artists there are fantastic. I recommend Pastime to anyone I come across who wants tattoos!

Pastime is hands down the coolest tattoo shop in the Bay Area. They have easily become my favorite and only shop I will ever visit. Not only is it impeccably clean and welcoming, but the friendly atmosphere makes you feel right at home. It's evident that they prioritize creating a safe and comfortable environment for their clients. Every artist here is top-notch, but Billy has been my go-to since 2018, consistently exceeding my expectations with his work. Recently, I've had the pleasure of getting a few pieces done by Buddha, and I'm absolutely thrilled with the results. I couldn't be happier with my tattoos. Professional clean inviting environment .. artists are all very knowledgeable; most of all they are honest and will lead you in the right direction for the desired outcome .. they also bring in artist from all over the country which is rad!!! Thanks Ben!!!

We opened Pastime Tattoo on June 30, 2018 in beautiful downtown San Leandro, California. We are a destination shop, where local tattoo collectors and traveling collectors alike, come here to get their work done. Our goal is to be more than “just another tattoo shop”. Every inch of our walls and ceiling is adorned with tattoo designs (flash) that are hand painted by our artists and our peers.
