I've been training here for years. I love the art but more than that I love Jimmy our Sensei. I've made wonderful friends through the years and feel like Norm from Cheers when I come in and everyone knows my name. The place is welcoming, overly clean and it's a great art you can do for the rest of your life.

Coach Lucio is a 3rd degree black belt from one of the most prestigious Jiujitsu schools in Brazil, Alliance. I have a strong sense of respect for him and his team. From the beginning I have watched him grow this program from 1 person, to over 50 people at this location. This is a testament to his strong technique and dedication to his craft. Sometime last year Lucio brought another amazing fighter and black belt from Alliance, Victor. His leg lock game is out of this world and has won multiple IBJJF tournaments. I have been training here for about six months but I've trained at other gyms before this. Lucio and Vic are top notch Jiu Jitsu coaches. Extremely detailed and they make sure you learn the technique correctly. A great place to get a solid foundation and some tough rolls no matter your level. Everyone is very friendly and respectful, plus the gym probably has the most mat space in SF.
