I cannot say enough wonderful things about Santaluz Animal Care and Dr. Laura Johnson! They saved my dog Hei-Hei’s life, and I will forever be grateful for their compassion, skill, and generosity.
Our 7 lb. Chihuahua had been wasting away, dropping to 5.5 lbs. due to a severe dental infection. His white blood cell count was elevated, he was in pain, and they also discovered early-stage renal failure. We were terrified, but Santaluz Animal Care went above and beyond.

I took my newly adopted rescue puppy here. While they were 30 min late, when the veterinarian finally came in, she was kind, attentive, and took her time with my puppy. I was a little irritated with the late nature of my appointment, but her kind demeanor changed my mind. I think I was the last appointment of the day, so I get it. I really liked that Dr. Johnson paid full attention to us, heard our concerns, and seemed to give us sound advice. I plan on coming back.

I had a fantastic experience with Dr. Laura and Dr. Gabby when they took care of my two cats. As a first-time client, I was impressed that they sent me a detailed questionnaire to understand my cats' preferences. During the exam, they were gentle and only did what was necessary. My cats felt at ease, and I appreciated that they used a pheromone in the exam room to keep them calm.
