*Updated: Evaluations for 7 year old taking hip-hop for fun? My son took hip-hop from 5-8 years old. He is not a gifted dancer-he was taking it for fun! We got evaluations stating needs improvement, no other comments, no communication prior to this. I had to request to talk to the teacher multiple times. I asked to opt out of the evaluation (which did not give clear guidance). The last thing any kid this age needs is an evaluation for what is supposed to be a fun activity (it did not seem geared towards class placement as noted in the response from Melodic Remedy).

Great dance studio. My daughter really loved everything MR had to offer and the experience she gained there. Totally recommend this dance studio. My daughter gained a lot of self confidence and made tons of friends. All the instructors from the many different classes she took were all awesome!
