Hands down Shirley White of Morgan & Jones Funeral Home is one of the most compassionate and straight forward people you will ever meet. She make everyone feel like family, she makes house calls anytime of the day or night. A true professional with a passion for this business. During the holidays she puts up a Christmas tree with ornaments from past families hosts dinner parties. A true gem to the community.

My aunt died in the beginning of July and they were recommended by a friend. I went to make the arrangements for a cremation, and everything was set. 2 1/2 weeks later I get a call from the hospital asking me if I had picked a funeral home yet because my aunt's body was still at the hospital. I was very upset because they were suppose to have picked her up weeks ago. I let the hospital know which funeral home I had choose they called and got no answer as so did I, just the answering service. I DO NOT RECOMMEND!!!I am unfamiliar with funerals and how to go about finding information. I called to ask an ending time for a loved ones viewing. So I can leave work and pay my respects. Instead of telling me they didn't have everything together she was consistently rude and showed extreme lack of care, saying she had no information on the service. She then told me well I don't know who's on the other side of the phone. She insisted I contact her immediate family for information who are in no right mind space to be bothered. Let alone I hardly know them and do not have their number. I was informed by a friend about the service who has already been erratic and unstable....read full review
