We recently decided to remove all our high maintenance, high water plants in the back yard and re-landscape. I had 4 large trees and four small trees along with a bunch of plants that needed to be removed before starting the re-landscape. I called Jonathan from Ortega's Jr Tree Service and he came out the same day to actually view the property and give his estimate; I'd previously called a competitor who couldn't be bothered to actually come out but gave an estimate based on photos. Jonathan's estimate for removing everything and grinding the stumps (including ones on a generally level grade above a small retaining wall) was extremely reasonable. We made a last minute decision to have trees trimmed before family came to visit. We wanted more sunlight in our south facing yard. I called on a weekend and Jonathan came out Monday to give me a quote and his crew came Friday to do the work. They did a great job and made sure I was happy with the way each tree turned out. We had 4 very large trees trimmed way back and a small one in front for a fair price.
