Amazing place to work out. It's not always easy to work with special need adults but it's rewarding and does take a certain type of personality work with these individuals. They have a Day Program and Residential Programs available here for Development Delayed Adults
Exceptional place! I cannot praise them enough for their unwavering commitment to supporting blind and disabled adults in our community. Their dedication is evident through the remarkable range of services they provide. From offering top-notch housing options to facilitating a comprehensive day program, they go above and beyond to ensure disabled adults have access to an abundance of invaluable resources and engaging activities.
I thought I was a good advocate for people with disabilities. Over the past week, I've been privileged to see the staff at TLC's day program do their work. I'm helping someone make a transition into their programming. It's difficult. And then I see the amazing staff at TLC care for their clients... and it's somehow with love and compassion and professionalism. Many people here have multiple disabilities including blindness and the team cares for each one of them in such a positive way. It is incredible to see them who show up every day.I would give the staff a billion stars here if I could.
