The Sit Means Sit team has done wonders with our 8 month old golden retriever puppy. Worth every penny.

We rescued a sweet little 8 pound poodle in December. She came with quite a few behavioral issues. Our neighbors used Sit Means Sit for their dog so we gave them a call. Megan and Kevin came to the house met us and Emma. They were honest about what training could do. I had taken my dogs to other trainers over the years, NONE of them ever talked about the dogs state of mind. Sit Means Sit focuses on finding that calm state of mind, and all the commands and training are centered around giving the dog peace. But you dear owner must be committed to the process. It works. My baby is calm, confident and stable.

All the trainers are well qualified for the task of helping you and your dog in becoming of one mindset when it comes to obedience, socialization, and all-around good citizens. Ultimately, it's up to us and how much effort we put into the training to achieve that perfect goal, but the trainers provide that excellent guidance that we need. I highly recommend "Sit Means Sit" for your dog training program as I have for my dog Kensie.

My dogs are currently in a 20 day board & train and the trainers are amazing! I receive texts and videos of my dogs’ progress about every other day. I love their communication and training methods. So pleased!

We rescued our very first dog after fostering him (foster fail). He was 3 mos old and a perfect pup. As he got older he began to bite one of my kids, chew furniture, resource guard (loaf of bread in his crate ), and would jump the fence once in a while when another dog was passing our home. He also started pulling when I'd walk him. As he got bigger and bigger he got harder to manage. He was a good dog but we just didn't know how to train him properly. When he was 9 mos old we agreed to invest in his training. Sit Means Sit was not inexpensive but 100% worth it! They would pick him up once a week for training. When they brought him home they would train me on what he learned. He was completely obedient witching 4 weeks and he still had his fun loving personality! The following year we went on a 10-day vacation and decided to board our dog with Sit Means Sit. They picked him up when we left and dropped him off at home when we got back and he got additional training while he was there. The fee for his boarding was considerably less than what we would've paid anywhere else. I think that's because we initially paid the large training fee for him. The training he got while he was there showed subtle but very positive results! When my husband would take him for a walk, he would lay down when another dog was approaching until it passed. Our dog is older now but I believe he feels safe from the training he had because we communicate very well. I can even walk him off leash and he won't stray unless I give him permission.

I want to leave this place 10 stars if I could! Madi the trainer was absolutely wonderful with my doodle. I loved her compassion for doodles. Her patience. Her punctuality. Her professionalism. And most importantly her love for making sure max had some fun too and relaxed during training. Max my dog is almost done with training and I can't wait to put to use what he's learned.

Troubled dog? Sit means sit can help. They're not miracle workers and you will have to put in the effort to make sure your dog is successful. They will help tremendously, but you must manage your expectations and expect to put in plenty of hours to get the results you want.

We are very happy with Sit Means Sit and all of their help and expertise training our puppy. We placed him in the 10 day board/training program when he was 6 months. Prior to that he was very difficult to manage at home but after 10 days with Sit Means Sit, he came home a completely manageable puppy. And with the subsequent follow up visits both from home and their facility, he's even better now. We have now begun the group lessons as well and he keeps on improving. All in all it has totally been worth the $ and time we spend going to follow up training. I highly recommend this business. Shane Norris

THE BEST TRAINING! Our malinois is crazy, wild, and reactive and they did a great job teaching him to listen! The staff is amazing, every single one of them was helpful and loved our dog! I highly recommend for ANY dog!
