Would recommend this place to EVERYONE! This man is so nice and I brought some shoes in that I thrifted and he was so excited to see them because I guess the style is rare to come by now and and the brand doesn't make them with lamb skin and it was so cool that he was giving me a little history story about the shoes I brought in, makes me love them even more now! He was very timely and has the best suggestions on how to elevate your shoes without making them look funky! Will be returning !!

I took a beloved pair of 10-year-old designer purple patent leather classic heels in to this gentleman for repair this morning. The leather was peeling on the heels, for some unknown reason. To my astonishment, he told me there was nothing he could do for me, because that unique color is not something they even make. He suggested I find matching...nail polish! He showed me some kind of dye thing he uses that looks like smelly, gooey nail polish anyway. I nail polished the shoes and they look fabulous! Here's the surprise: he didn't make a penny from me! I found Mr. Alvaro's shoe repair through Yelp and picked him from his proximity to my home. I needed a pair of Cowboy boots repaired and he was able to do that and more. Very professional and with many years of knowledge. Definitely friendly. Since going to him for my cowboy boots, I have continued to take him other shoes for repairs and hasn't let me down! Definitely recommend him for all shoe repairs.
