The MTC exceeded my expectations by a mile!
Ryan, my classroom instructor, went above and beyond repeating the student handbook by using examples from his own experience, which made the information really accessible, and sharing his deep knowledge via clear, detailed answers to a range of questions about bikes, specific situations encountered on the road, etc. I liked the pace Ryan struck in the class—he moved fast enough to always be engaging but never overwhelming.

Within a month of completing the AMO program, I went from never having rode a motorcycle to riding a motorcycle home from a dealership over 33 miles and speeds reaching 55mph. It took me a month only because I spent two weeks shopping around for a bike.
Total Control Training is the contracted manager for the California Motorcycle Safety Program (CMSP) of the CHP. The ACADEMY OF MOTORCYCLE OPERATION (AMO) is an approved subcontracted provider of the Program. As the Compliance Manager, AMO has always acted in an exemplary manner. The lone unhappy individual falsely and for malicious purposes, posted AMO does not have insurance. The posting individual "Bryan and Jan A" fails to mention he, "Bryan", executed a legal waiver of liability which included his truck parked beside a motorcycle training lane.
